"Delight In The Everyday Moments" Mixed Media Layout for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone, hope you are having a wonderful month. Today's post is a mixed media layout filled with textures, dimension and layering. Let's get started. 

My layout is a 12x12 which began with just white cardstock and I did a lot of stamping using archival ink so it will not react with liquids. I then applied through a pretty flowered stencil some Paper Texture Paste and allowed it to dry. Once dry I then did some water coloring with Lindys "Grab A Guy Gold". Also splattered some black gesso here and there. On the left side of the layout you will see that I used Reneabouquets Garden Bouquet Lace-2" Wide White. It is tucked nicely under all the florals. In the right hand corner you will also see Printed Beautiful Board Large Sweet Garden Butterfly Fairy With Glass Wings Set and tucked under the florals is the Beautiful Board Spring Butterfly Laser Cut Chipboard Set of 3 which I painted white. 

Beautiful Board Small Feathers Set of 3 Laser Cut Chipboard as well as Beautiful Board Large Quilling Flourish Set of 4 Laser Cut Chipboard were painted white and added to the layout. For some fun texture I added some Art Stones and sprinkled Reneabouquets Hand Tinted Buttercream Gawdie Girl Chunky Glitter Glass. 

Florals that were used are Mini Soft Ivory Roses and Leaves Mulberry Paper Flower Set, Honey Roses And Leaves Mulberry Paper Flowers and White Roses, Gardenias & Leaves Mulberry Flowers.  The pretty little daisies you see are Printed Beautiful Board Large Tuck It In Sweet Daisy Laser Cut Chipboard. 

And new to the store are these sweet tiny butterflies in several colors, I used Butterfly Kisses Fairy Dust Gold Single Side Printed Butterflies and  also in Silver. Some of the butterflies I attached silver wire and have them hovering over the layout. In between the butterflies I applied some more bling to finish off the project with Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass. I hope you were inspired and enjoyed this layout. xoxo Toni

"Me & My Big Brother" Mixed Media Layout

 Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying your summertime... a big difference from last year. I'm in California and we are already experiencing triple digits !! Today I have for you a fun beach layout with lots of textures and mixed media applications. 

I added craft sand with clear crackle texture paste for some fun texture and dimension. The beautiful board pieces I used Beautiful Board Chunky Chain Link Frame Set of 2 Laser Cut Chipboard Frames which I added crackle medium and then stained with Distress Ink in Walnut Stain. 

One of our newest pieces to the store is this delightful Beautiful Word Large Me & My Big Brother Laser Cut Chipboard which I also used crackle medium on and sprayed it with Lindys Afternoon Delight Denim and DI Frayed Burlap. The Beautiful Board Starfish With Accents goes perfect with this layout as the Beautiful Board Large Nautical Anchor. Both were treated with the same crackle medium and sprayed and inked like the pieces above. 

The sweet  Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits-Seashells Laser Cut Chipboard are perfect for tucking in and around your photos. The florals I used are Navy Blue Roses and Leaves Mulberry, Mini Dusty Blue Mulberry.  To finish off the layout I also topped off some of my fussy cutting pieces with the gorgeous Gawdie Girl Diamond Fine German Glitter Glass . "Bon Appetit" Mixed Media Layout for Reneabouquets Design Team

 Hi everyone and hope you are all having a wonderful month. Today I have a layout I created with layers, dimension, textures and lots of Reneabouquets items. Let's get started. 

The paper collection I used is Mintay "Homemade" and I did some fussy cutting of some of the images to place on dimensional foam. Beautiful Words Medium Bon Appetit Laser Cut Chipboard was the perfect title for this layout. I colored it with some Distressed Inks and added a coat of Rock Candy Crackle Paint. Then applied some Art Alchemy Wax in White Pearl to bring forth the cracks from the paint. The hearts I used, Beautiful Board Victorian Heart Doilies Laser Cut Chipboard Set, I applied the same mediums to them as well. I cut heart shapes out of the cardstock to have a different color cardstock peeking through the beautiful board. Down towards the bottom I added one of RB trinkets which is the Silver Spoons Trinket Pack. In the very center of the layout I used Beautiful Board Medium Romantic Heart Pattern Laser Cut Chipboard. 

The sweet tiny butterflies used here are the Butterfly Kisses Delicate Beauty Single Side Printed Butterflies. The florals I used from RB store are the Itty Bitty Blossoms and Leaves Timeless Blue, Mini Dusty Blue & Ivory Mulberry Paper Roses, and the Antique Linen Roses. Tucked inside the florals are the Beautiful Board Bits Skeleton Leaf Laser Cut Chipboard and Beautiful Board Bits Rose Leaf Laser Cut Chipboard. And what would my layout be without adding a bit of sparkle to the layout with Gawdie Girl Diamond Fine German Glitter, which looks just like sugar on this layout. "Be Curious" Mixed Media Layout for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone, hope you all are staying safe and healthy. Today I have for you a layout filled with mixed media layers and textures. 

I first started by adding some machine stitching around the perimeter of the layout then I wanted to add some texture to the base of the layout utilizing some textured crackle paste through different stencils. I chose the Beautiful Board pieces I wanted to use and gave them all a coat of Rock Candy Crackle Paint. 

The Beautiful Board pieces I chose were Beautiful board Large April In Paris Adornment Pattern,  Beautiful Board Deco Gears Set of 4 Laser Cut Chipboard,  Beautiful Board April In Paris Doily #2 Set of 3 (I used the largest doily).  I then decided to create a little book out of vintage stained papers which I took about 7 and sewed down the middle to create pages. Then ran it through a texture fade with the alphabet and distressed the pages with distress oxide ink.

For a pretty vintage feel I used Reneabouquets White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace.  The Butterfly I used on this layout is the Salted Caramel Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies.   

It was now time to add the flowers, The flowers I chose are Dark Brown Roses Mulberry Paper Flower Set, Soft Peach Roses And Leaves Mulberry Paper Flower Set, Mini Soft Peach Mulberry Paper Flower Set, Antique Linen Roses, Gardenia And Leaves Flower Set and Peach Roses And Leaves Mulberry Paper Flower Set. 

To compliment the layout I added some sparkle utilizing Reneabouquets Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass. I hope you enjoyed this layout and now for your pleasure I have added a video of me creating this layout below. Hope you enjoy ..... blessings.

"Cute As A Bunny" Mixed Media Canvas

Hi everyone, today I have a little canvas I created for a new friend for a swap hosted by Reneabouquets. 

The background paper is from Stamperia "Provence" collection and then I covered it with beautiful lace from Reneabouquets store. The frame is a beautiful board piece from RB store as well and I embossed it. 

The little bunny and eggs are styrofoam and purchased at the Dollar store then covered with Wiltons Foil Candy Wrappers. The egg wrappers were stained with Alcohol Inks. The precious itty bitty flowers are from Reneabouquets. I finished the project off with tying an Ideology Token around the bunny's nect with jute. Wishing you a beautiful month of April.

"Bloom Where You Are Planted" for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone, today I have a new layout to share with you for Reneabouquets Design Team. Filled with some pretty springtime goodies from Reneabouquets store. Let's get started. I first stitched around the perimeter of my background paper for interest then I wanted to highlight the pathway in the photograph therefore I tore the paper and used chocolate corrugated cardboard for the mat to bring your eye forward in the layout.  I then used Beautiful Board Grid Elements Laser Cut Chipboard on the sides of the photo to provide a garden trellis effect. It also adds some nice texture to your photo surrounding. Then I tucked the Beautiful Board Wild Flower Gears around the sides of the photo. Playing off the slight shade of peach in the photo I decided to use Soft Peach Roses and also one of my very favorite colors Antique Linen Roses. The Antique Linen is such a versatile color and goes with everything. The flowers come with some extra pretty mulberry leaves to use so I layered them with the Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits-Skeleton Leaf Chipboard. I then decided, what would a gardening layout be without the pretty Printed Beautiful Board Small Tuck It In Sweet Daisy Chipboard. I then added the Beautiful Board Small Feathers Set of 3 around the layout. To finish off the layout I added Queen Bee Clock Charm from the trinkets in the store and the gorgeous Secret Garden Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies. Of course I had to add a bit of bling to the layout so I went around the perimeter of the layout and sprinkled Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass. This was a fun layout to create, fun colors to play with and I hope you enjoyed this. For your pleasure I do have a video tutorial below for your viewing. Wishing you a day filled with peace.

"In The Garden" Reneabouquets Design Team Project

Hi everyone, Toni here with a fun new project featuring our brand NEW Beautiful Board Tree Of Life Loaded Card, Tag or Frame Chipboard Kit.  This is such a fun kit to create. One side has a frame for your pretty photo and the other is a pocket to place more photos, tags, ephemera etc. The paper line I used can be purchased in Reneabouquets store as well and it is Blue Fern Studios Glory of The Garden Collection. 

The frame is to the left of the above photo and on the top of the frame I sprinkled ReneaBouquets Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass  I decorated with some of Renea's gorgeous handmade flowers which are : Itty Bitty Blossoms and Leaves Timeless Blue, , Mini Old Gold Mulberry Paper Roses And Leaves Set , Candy Pink Roses And Leaves, Antique Linen Roses, Gardenia And Leaves 

Here is a photo of the reverse side pocket which I simply made some tags to hold more photos. I embellished the pocket holder with the same flowers as listed above as well as some of Reneabouquets one of a kind butterflies. The ones that I chose are these sweet tiny Magical Miniatures Watercolor Spun Sugar Butterflies . I took a couple of the Beautiful Board Small Pretty Ivy Pattern and painted it a pale green and then adhered Reneabouquets No Hole Fern Green Glass Microbeads to the top of the beautiful board ivy using glossy accents. 

 For this waterfall folio  I created I embellished with the very same flowers as above as well as the butterflies. The gorgeous fairy here is Printed Beautiful Board Small Sweet Garden Butterfly Fairy With Glass Wings .  The beautiful board panel I used on the front is Beautiful Board Cathedral Elements Laser Cut Chipboard and it was also covered with the Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass.  The lace used under the panel is the NEW Reneabouquets Trim-Petite Pearl Lace 

The inside of the folio was kept very simple but I did include an accordion album in the leftside pocket of the folio. On the front of the accordion album I used the NEW Beautiful Board Tree Of Life ATCs or Tag Set Double Layer Design

Embellishment Book Box Swap for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone, I'm up on the blog today with a fun swap project. This month at Reneabouquets we had an embellishment book box. We were to create a box that looked like a book and fill it with pretty embellishments for our swap partner. Here is what I came up with.

The box on the right is the "Embellishment Book Box" and the other one is just a box I made to fill up with more creative goodies for my partner. 

The front of the book box was decorated with many Reneabouquets items from the store which will be listed below. 

And for your pleasure I have provided a video tutorial below. This book box is very easy to create and another fun way to send off happy mail to your crafty friends. I hope you would consider getting involved in our swaps we have monthly. It is a wonderful way to meet new crafty friends !

Mixed Media Beach Board for Art Anthology

Hi everyone, I'm up on the blog today to share with you my latest DT project for Art Anthology.

I purchased a clip board from the dollar store and transformed it into a picture frame of my daughter and niece about 25 years ago. 

Using some natural elements like twigs, driftwood, seashells, moss and adding some paper clay beach elements as well as fishnet & assorted flowers, I was able to capture alot of pretty texture to create with. 

Art Anthology supplies really allowed this frame to pop with color. I used Colorations Sprays, Minx Shimmering Ink, Sorbets, Stone Effects & Metal Effect. I will list the supplies and their websites below.

Altered Notebook, Art Bucket & Embellishment Folio for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone, I'm up on the blog today to share with you some fun projects you can create for yourself or they would be great as little "happy mail" for someone special. This month Reneabouquets hosted a "altered notebook" swap, so lets' start with that project I created for my swap partner.

I started with just a standard notebook, removed the covers and covered with Prima's Golden Coast paper collection.  Reneabouquets store has so many gorgeous items that work well with this paper collection. Very summery, beachy, vacation style. I then added the BB Heart Deco Circle Bead Frame

and applied the Mermaids Iridescent Pearls and accented it with the BB Starfish. (All supplies will be listed below in the video description)

I then created a dangle charm to hang by the side of the notebook with charms, beautiful board starfish, tassles, etc. 

I wanted to send my swap partner some goodies to create with or to share in RAK'S as well so I was inspired by Tmika (Scrapdaworld  https://www.youtube.com/user/scrapdaw...) for this embellishment folio. Super easy but a fun way to send packages of little trinkets, ribbons, chipboard etc to your friends. It was created from medium weight chipboard and then embellished with BB Bubbles Textured Panel and added pearls. Then I had to use Reneabouquets gorgeous BB Spring Butterfly and some flowers from the store. 

The inside opens to two side panels that you can adhere your embellishment bags for a pretty presentation. 

Now my swap partner is known for having fun with mixed media and I wanted to send her an assortment of brushes & palette knifes to use in art. I had this tin bucket and I white washed it with gesso and then glued pencils around the perimeter. But first I wrapped each pencil with the Golden Coast cardstock. Then added some pretty lace and a ribbon that was being held with BB April In Paris Doily. What would any project be without Reneabouquets flowers and butterflies to finish it off.

"Passionately Follow Your Path" Mixed Media Layout for ReneaBouquets

Hi everyone, it's my turn up on the blog today and I have a feminine summer layout for you. ReneaBouquets store has a wonderful supply of  "beach/vacation themed" Beautiful Board  to help make all your summertime projects perfect.

I started with Prima's "New" Golden Coast paper collection (which can be found in ReneaBouquets store).  For the most part I left the Beautiful Board pieces as is (because they are gorgeous in their natural state) except just highlighted some spots with gold embossing powder to coordinate with the gold foil paper I used for matting. 

I did some fussy cutting of the paper collection and tucked that as well as more Beautiful Board around the photos.

"Spring Meadow" Mixed Media Layout or ReneaBouquets

Hi everone, Toni here with a new project for ReneaBouquets and inspired by this month's beautiful moodboard. 

Mood boards are a great way to provide inspiration to you when your trying to get started on a layout or project. It provides you with textures, colors, imagery etc. What I grabbed a hold of is the watercolor, ethereal look of the images as well as the flowers and of course that unbelievable palette of colors. 

Using ReneaBouquet products is always an easy way to accomplish a look that maybe you are trying to achieve. How I usually start is I find a photo or get an idea in my head of what I want to create and then allow that to lead me in the ReneaBouquets store on the items that will indeed enhance my project. 

It can be overwhelming when you go to the store and see all the fantastic items to choose from and you don't know where to start. Many of the items in the store actually have a photo of a project that one of the designers created using that item which will give you and idea on how to utilize it.

In the layout above, I found the photo I wanted to scrap and realized it encompassed so much of the mood board. I then went to the RB store and chose some items that I new would really enhance my photo. And then I just sat down and started creating as you can view my process video below. Embroidery Hoop Shaker for ReneaBouquets

Hi everyone, it's my turn for a ReneaBouquets design team project and I decided to create a shaker embroidery hoop. Filled with pretties from ReneaBouquets store. 

Lots of Beautiful Board from the store and I left it in its beautiful natural state. 

The butterfly inside the shaker is a brand new style called Musical Note Butterfly and it's just gorgeous. 

With the addition of the pretty flowers with a bit of microbeads sprinkled on top and of course one of the exquisite butterflies from the store as well.  Hope you enjoyed. For your pleasure I have also included a step by step video. Happy crafting !
