Altered Frame for Reneabouquets Design Team

 Hi everyone, hope you are having a wonderful month. Today I have a frame I picked up at the Dollar Store and altered it to suit one of my favorite photos of my little furry boy Bubba. This is such an easy project how you can take something inexpensive and customize it for yourself. 

I did a bit of stamping on the cardstock that I used with a honeycomb stamp. Stamped it here and there around the photo. The cardstock I used is from Country Craft Creations "Bee House", a simply gorgeous collection of papers. I fussy cut some of the flowers to place around the left side of the frame to build my foundation. The florals I used are the Mini Old Gold Mulberry Paper Roses and Leaves, Caramel And Sugar Roses, Gardenia and Leaves and the Honey Roses and Leaves Mulberry Paper Flowers. 

I used some BRAND NEW items from the store on this frame, first up I used Printed Beautiful Board Small Sugar Bee Hive Laser Cut Chipboard, above the corner of the photo is the Beautiful Board Small Sugar Bee Corners Laser Cut Chipboard. The gorgeous bee I used is our Sugar Bees Premium Paper Glitter Glass Bee. I also added the Beautiful Board Medium Bee Hive Elements Laser Cut Chipboard and I cut it into pieces and added 3 layers of UTEE embossing powder to it for the illusion of honey. 

Here is a close up of that pretty sugar bee. 

Then from the trinket department in the store I had to use Reneabouquets Queen Bee Clock Charms Trinket Pack. For the centers of the flowers I dropped beads of hot glue into the middle of some microbeads, wait for them to dry and then place them in the middle of the flowers. The microbeads used are No Hole Old Gold Glass Microbeads and also No Hole Pearl Glass Microbeads .

Christmas Recipe Mini Album In A Box for Reneabouquets

Merry Christmas everyone, it's one of my favorite times of year and this year is especially important because of all we have been through in 2020. It's a blessing to remember what this season is all about and that is LOVE... we love because HE loved us first. Every year I make certain specific cookies for Christmas that are a family favorite.  I thought it would be fun to create a little mini album to hold these memorable recipes and give it to my daughter so she will always have the recipes of the cookies that filled her tummy during this time of year.  The box to hold them is a Graphic 45 ATC Book Box and I decorated it with some festive Christmas cardstock. 

 On the outside of the box I used the Beautiful Board Small April In Paris Adornment Pattern and I embossed it with brass embossing powder. I then used Christmas Burgundy Mulberry Poinsettias, Roses & Holly Leaves Flower Set for that festive look. Some Christmas greenery and tiny brass bells from my stash. I also used the Graphic 45 claw feet to rest the box upon. 

To embellish the front of the mini album I created I used one of my favoite items from Reneabouquets store which is Small Square Shaker Box DIY Kit Laser Cut Chipboard. These are so much fun to create with and have endless possibilities on what you can do with them. Inside I filled it with Beautiful Board Large First Snow Snowflakes and a mixture of Gold Fine German Glitter Glass, No Hole Glass Microbeads in Silver, No Hole Glass Microbeads in Black, and mica flakes from my stash. 

I also hung a charm I created off the side of the album, and this included Reneabouquets Tea Time Trinkets which were painted with black gesso and then white gold Finnabair wax was rubbed on top to give it a brass finish. 

The inside of the mini album was created with pockets to hold your recipe cards and decorated with an assortment of Beautiful Board Special Edition Homemade Christmas Cookies which were painted and then sprinkled with fine clear glitter for a sugary look. A Metal Clip Bookmark With Cabochon from the store was clipped on to a page for some added fun.

Mixed Media Christmas Gift Bags

 Hi everyone, it's time to get a head start on your Christmas crafts and today I have a fun idea to use for those inexpensive paper bags. Let's put your own creative spin on some of them. Let's get started. 

I purchased these bags at the Dollar Store and decided to add some artwork to the front of them. Reneabouquets store is plump full of beautiful Christmas ornate goodies to add to your projects. I started with both by adding some texture with a some stamping with embossing powder and then stenciled using texture paste. In the video below you can watch my creative process. The bag on the right I used Printed Beautiful Board Small Holly And Berry Corners With Tuck Ins and also Beautiful Words Small Merry And Bright Laser Cut Chipboard . The flowers used are listed below. 

Featured on the bag above is the Printed Beautiful Board Small Christmas Belle Laser Cut Chipboard which was blinged up with our 2 Ounce Gawdie Girl Diamond Fine German Glitter Glass 

and I also used our Beautiful Words Stackable Merry Christmas Laser Cut Chipboard  which I embossed with silver powder. Tucked underneath the large poinsettia is some White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace .

The flowers I used on this bag are the Christmas Burgundy Mulberry Poinsettias, Mini Roses and Holly Leaves Flowers and White Roses Gardenias & Leaves Mulberry Flowers . I also added some greenery and tinsel from my stash and then used the sweet Butterfly Kisses Delicate Beauty Single Side Printed Butterflies . To finish it off I splattered white ink on top to provide a frosty vision. Hope you were inspired and hope you give this a try. xoxo

Birthday Explosion Box for Reneabouquets Design Team

 It's party time!!!! It's celebration time at Reneabouquets because it is  Beautiful Board's 3rd Birthday. What's a party without a cake, therefore I decided to create an explosion box with cake inside. 

Loaded with many places to add your photos and fun interactive pages. But RB Beautiful Board puts the icing on the cake when decorating your projects. It just puts it over the top a bit.  The Happy Birthday Laser Cut Chipboard was embossed with gold glitter. The precious butterfly I chose to adorn the top of this package is the Tiny Treasures Darling Coral Butterfly 

The box measures 6"x 6" and the insert is 5" x 5". 

 The lace that was used on the foundation of the box is White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace. Accented with Beautiful Board April in Paris Doily was also embossed with gold glitter. The flowers used are Mini Soft Peach Mulberry Paper Roses and Tangerine Quartz Roses And Leaves. Also used the NEW Itty Bitty Blossoms and Leaves Peach Mulberry Paper Flower. The white gardenia used came from the Cinnamon and Sugar Roses Gardenias Mulberry Paper Set. Also tucked away in between the pretty flowers are the Beautiful Bits-Skeleton Leaf Laser Cut Chipboard. 

After opening the explosion box in the center I created a birthday cake in honor of this festive occasion. For the separate tiers I used the April In Paris Doily Two Set of 3 and I painted them white then for dimension added Nuvo Drops in white pearl and then sprinkled on Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass  Also used to enhance a couple of the pages is Beautiful Board Medium Victorian Scroll Accents.

"Love" Mixed Media Layout for Reneabouquets Design Team

Hi everyone, it's time for a mixed media layout. Lots of different layers going on here and so many pretty items from Reneabouquets store. I used the  Beautiful Board Large Butterfly Flourish Frame Laser Cut Chipboard  to start the foundation for my photo mat. Then I created lots of layers of scraps I had in my stash as well as the pretty White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace 

 

I painted all of my beautiful board with a coat of white acrylic first before applying it to the layout.  I love creating layers on my layout because it makes it real easy to place the sweet little Beautiful Board Ivy Vines Tuck It In Laser Cut Chipboard  and  Beautiful Board Large Butterflies And Roses Laser Cut Chipboard Set of Two  under and around the different florals I choose to use on the project. 

Speaking of florals, there is so many to choose from in the store but my pick for this layout is the Candy Pink Roses And Leaves Mulberry Paper Flowers  and I also decided for more texture around the edges I added some 1 Ounce No Hole Pale Pink Glass Microbeads . The title on this "Love" is NEW in the store and it is Beautiful Words 4 Mixed Sizes Love Laser Cut Chipboard . 

Some of the finishing touches are added were the Beautiful Board Medium Rose Heart Locket Key Laser Cut Chipboard , Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits-Tweet Laser Cut Chipboard and the Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits-Rose Leaf Laser Cut Chipboard . But nothing finishes off a project without Reneabouquets gorgeous handmade butterflies, and I used Fairy Dust Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies . "In The Garden" Reneabouquets Design Team Project

Hi everyone, Toni here with a fun new project featuring our brand NEW Beautiful Board Tree Of Life Loaded Card, Tag or Frame Chipboard Kit.  This is such a fun kit to create. One side has a frame for your pretty photo and the other is a pocket to place more photos, tags, ephemera etc. The paper line I used can be purchased in Reneabouquets store as well and it is Blue Fern Studios Glory of The Garden Collection. 

The frame is to the left of the above photo and on the top of the frame I sprinkled ReneaBouquets Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass  I decorated with some of Renea's gorgeous handmade flowers which are : Itty Bitty Blossoms and Leaves Timeless Blue, , Mini Old Gold Mulberry Paper Roses And Leaves Set , Candy Pink Roses And Leaves, Antique Linen Roses, Gardenia And Leaves 

Here is a photo of the reverse side pocket which I simply made some tags to hold more photos. I embellished the pocket holder with the same flowers as listed above as well as some of Reneabouquets one of a kind butterflies. The ones that I chose are these sweet tiny Magical Miniatures Watercolor Spun Sugar Butterflies . I took a couple of the Beautiful Board Small Pretty Ivy Pattern and painted it a pale green and then adhered Reneabouquets No Hole Fern Green Glass Microbeads to the top of the beautiful board ivy using glossy accents. 

 For this waterfall folio  I created I embellished with the very same flowers as above as well as the butterflies. The gorgeous fairy here is Printed Beautiful Board Small Sweet Garden Butterfly Fairy With Glass Wings .  The beautiful board panel I used on the front is Beautiful Board Cathedral Elements Laser Cut Chipboard and it was also covered with the Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass.  The lace used under the panel is the NEW Reneabouquets Trim-Petite Pearl Lace 

The inside of the folio was kept very simple but I did include an accordion album in the leftside pocket of the folio. On the front of the accordion album I used the NEW Beautiful Board Tree Of Life ATCs or Tag Set Double Layer Design

Lighted Altered Paint Brush for Reneabouquets

Hello to our Reneabouquet family and friends. Every month RB hosts a swap that you can participate in and it's a great way to make new creative friends and share your love for paper crafts with another. This month's swap was to create an altered paint brush, here is my take on it.
I purchased a brush from Dollar Store 3" wide which provided a nice amount of space to create on. Below I have a video tutorial so you can watch the different mixed media techniques that I used to get this effect... very easy to do.

The main focal point on the brush was the sweet RB shadow box. They are so much fun to work with and so versatile. I decided to add some fairy lights just for effect. If you haven't worked with these shadow boxes you need to get your hands on them especially with the holidays approaching. They are so much fun to create with.

Vintage Trunk Mini Album

Hi everyone, and happy Monday ! Today I have a new project filled with Reneabouquets goodies and I'm so excited to share it with you.

Reneabouquets has such a gorgeous selection of beautiful board, flowers, laces and trinkets, not to mention her handmade butterflies, that can take your mini album over to the next level. Sometimes I really have a difficult time not adding too much, because everything is so pretty to work with. 

On the front I added some gorgeous lace from the store and embellished it with several different handmade mulberry flowers and RB Salted Caramel butterfly. All the beautiful board used was embossed with Brass embossing powder. And what about that brooch...isn't it gorgeous. 

The handle on the top of the album is actually a door handle which I whitewashed it and then lightly embossed it also with the brass EP. 

To open, you lift the top and the sides come down (almost like an explosion box). And inside I have waterfalls, accordion pages, as well as tags, and hidden pockets. You can actually see all of this more in detail in the video below where I will take to page by page and share details of the album.

"Lazy Daze" Mixed Media Layout for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone, hope you are having a spectacular month! Today I have a mixed media layout I created using several pretty pieces from Reneabouquets store. Let's get started !

I love dimension in my layouts so for the foundation I took some cardstock and ran it through a Sizzix embossing folder "wood grain" and also inked the embossing folder to give the texture an old wood appeal. Then I cut the cardstock in strips and distressed the edges. To create dimension, every other strip of cardstock I applied cardboard to the back and that raised up those strips on my layout. This provided a "shiplap" look. The photo used really provided my color palette for the layout, so I kept it pretty neutral with pops of red and black shades provided by Reneabouquets pretty mulberry flowers. All supplies are listed below. 

I did use several beautiful board pieces from Reneabouquets and they are gorgeous in their natural state, but I gave each one a little different mixed media touch. The bottom corner is the NEW Wrought Iron Panel.... gorgeous !!!!! I sponged on some green and brown paints and allowed to dry then went over it with Deco Art Crackle Varnish. For the Fancy Fall Tuckins I gave a coat of the crackle varnish and then added a bit of bronze shimmer wax here and there. 

The Clockwork gears I painted with black gesso, then crackle varnish and topped also with bronze shimmer wax. The Feather Set I embossed with bronze EP. Then to finish off the layout I included one of Reneabouquets handmade Delicate Beauty Glitter Glass Butterflies. "Soul Whispers" Layout for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone.... happy 1st day of Fall to everyone in the U.S. Today I have a layout for you featuring some pretty RB Beautiful Board and other products from the store. Embellishment Book Box Swap for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone, I'm up on the blog today with a fun swap project. This month at Reneabouquets we had an embellishment book box. We were to create a box that looked like a book and fill it with pretty embellishments for our swap partner. Here is what I came up with.

The box on the right is the "Embellishment Book Box" and the other one is just a box I made to fill up with more creative goodies for my partner. 

The front of the book box was decorated with many Reneabouquets items from the store which will be listed below.

"Dream Without Fear" Altered Embroidery Hoop for Reneabouquets Swap

Hi everyone, and welcome to my creative blog. Today I have for you a project I created for my swap partner Sherrie. This month Reneabouquets hosted a swap for an altered embroidery hoop. For this month also Reneabouquets and Crafty City have been collaborating together to provide you some amazing papers and Treasure Boxes filled with creative products.

Easy Explosion Box Mini Album for "Paradise In August" Collaboration

Welcome to the "Paradise In August" Collaboration with Reneabouquets & Crafty City. This month Reneabouquets is partnering up with Crafty City to bring you two different Treasure Boxes filled with yummy goodies. I will be working out of Treasure Box #2 for my project. 

My daughter will be soon taking a fantastic vacation to Croatia where she's going to spend lots of time on the beach, so I thought this is the perfect time to use my Treasure Box filled with goodies to create an explosion box to hold her photos. 

The box closes up with a lid and then when you remove the lid it drops down into a fun interactive photo album. 

I had so much fun fussy cutting the Mintay "Paradise" paper collection. The colors are so soft and gentle but really allows for pretty seaside themed projects. Reneabouquets store has so many fabulous items that fit right in with the beach theme as well.

Reneabouquets Sand Chunky Glitter Glass was perfect when sprinkled on wet texture paste around the 3D center. I hope you were inspired to grab one of these Treasure Boxes and join in on the fun with us this month.
