Mixed Media Christmas Gift Bags

 Hi everyone, it's time to get a head start on your Christmas crafts and today I have a fun idea to use for those inexpensive paper bags. Let's put your own creative spin on some of them. Let's get started. 

I purchased these bags at the Dollar Store and decided to add some artwork to the front of them. Reneabouquets store is plump full of beautiful Christmas ornate goodies to add to your projects. I started with both by adding some texture with a some stamping with embossing powder and then stenciled using texture paste. In the video below you can watch my creative process. The bag on the right I used Printed Beautiful Board Small Holly And Berry Corners With Tuck Ins and also Beautiful Words Small Merry And Bright Laser Cut Chipboard . The flowers used are listed below. 

Featured on the bag above is the Printed Beautiful Board Small Christmas Belle Laser Cut Chipboard which was blinged up with our 2 Ounce Gawdie Girl Diamond Fine German Glitter Glass 

and I also used our Beautiful Words Stackable Merry Christmas Laser Cut Chipboard  which I embossed with silver powder. Tucked underneath the large poinsettia is some White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace .

The flowers I used on this bag are the Christmas Burgundy Mulberry Poinsettias, Mini Roses and Holly Leaves Flowers and White Roses Gardenias & Leaves Mulberry Flowers . I also added some greenery and tinsel from my stash and then used the sweet Butterfly Kisses Delicate Beauty Single Side Printed Butterflies . To finish it off I splattered white ink on top to provide a frosty vision. Hope you were inspired and hope you give this a try. xoxo

Birthday Explosion Box for Reneabouquets Design Team

 It's party time!!!! It's celebration time at Reneabouquets because it is  Beautiful Board's 3rd Birthday. What's a party without a cake, therefore I decided to create an explosion box with cake inside. 

Loaded with many places to add your photos and fun interactive pages. But RB Beautiful Board puts the icing on the cake when decorating your projects. It just puts it over the top a bit.  The Happy Birthday Laser Cut Chipboard was embossed with gold glitter. The precious butterfly I chose to adorn the top of this package is the Tiny Treasures Darling Coral Butterfly 

The box measures 6"x 6" and the insert is 5" x 5". 

 The lace that was used on the foundation of the box is White Wide Floral Embroidered Lace. Accented with Beautiful Board April in Paris Doily was also embossed with gold glitter. The flowers used are Mini Soft Peach Mulberry Paper Roses and Tangerine Quartz Roses And Leaves. Also used the NEW Itty Bitty Blossoms and Leaves Peach Mulberry Paper Flower. The white gardenia used came from the Cinnamon and Sugar Roses Gardenias Mulberry Paper Set. Also tucked away in between the pretty flowers are the Beautiful Bits-Skeleton Leaf Laser Cut Chipboard. 

After opening the explosion box in the center I created a birthday cake in honor of this festive occasion. For the separate tiers I used the April In Paris Doily Two Set of 3 and I painted them white then for dimension added Nuvo Drops in white pearl and then sprinkled on Gawdie Girl Diamond Chunky German Glitter Glass  Also used to enhance a couple of the pages is Beautiful Board Medium Victorian Scroll Accents.

Mixed Media Beach Board for Art Anthology

Hi everyone, I'm up on the blog today to share with you my latest DT project for Art Anthology.

I purchased a clip board from the dollar store and transformed it into a picture frame of my daughter and niece about 25 years ago. 

Using some natural elements like twigs, driftwood, seashells, moss and adding some paper clay beach elements as well as fishnet & assorted flowers, I was able to capture alot of pretty texture to create with. 

Art Anthology supplies really allowed this frame to pop with color. I used Colorations Sprays, Minx Shimmering Ink, Sorbets, Stone Effects & Metal Effect. I will list the supplies and their websites below.

Floating Teacup "Forever Bloom" for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone and happy Friday !!! It's Toni here with a new Reneabouquet DT project. I've always wanted to try to create a floating teacup and when I saw Reneabouquets 3D Paper Teacup Set I knew I needed to give this a try.   

I started first by putting together the teacup and saucer... very easy assembly which you can view in my video below.  Once the teacup set was assembled I then started creating the floating technique which you can also view in my video. 

Now this couldn't have come together without Reneabouquets gorgeous mulberry flowers which come in a rainbow of colors. Renea spends hours and hours working to create these flowers and she has them all handmade. She ever so gently hangs all of them in her warehouse to keep their beautiful perfect shape. She comes up with some of the most fabulous color combos there is. I would encourage you to stop by her store and view. 

I tucked some of RB's Beautiful Bits Skeleton Leaves as well as Rose Leaves in between the flowers. Once I got all my blooms adhered the way I wanted I then topped the flowers off with some sparkly Diamond Shard Glitter Glass. And then for the finishing touches of course I had to add some of RB's butterflies. These are also hand drawn and created especially for your projects by Renea as well.
